MAX AI Companion is a private, text-first AI companion for adults. It helps you talk through hard moments, steady your thoughts, and choose one small next step through warm conversation, saved context, and reflection.
Who is MAX for?
MAX is for adults who want a private place to talk through stress, loneliness, burnout, relationship tension, school pressure, work pressure, or late-night thoughts.
Is MAX a therapist?
No. MAX is a companion, not a therapist, counselor, medical provider, or emergency service. It can support reflection and emotional steadiness, but it is not a substitute for professional care.
Is MAX for crisis support?
No. MAX is not crisis support, emergency response, or professional care. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline right away.
What makes MAX different from a generic chatbot?
MAX is designed around warm companionship, useful memory, and continuity across check-ins. It can help notice patterns, organize what you said, and suggest grounded next steps without pretending to be professional care.
What does MAX remember?
MAX can keep useful context you choose to save, including preferences, important details, follow-ups, and reflection themes, so future check-ins can build on what mattered before.
Can I delete my account or data?
Yes. Use the support page for account deletion or privacy help, and include the email tied to your MAX account so the team can find the right record.
Is my conversation sold or used for ads?
MAX does not sell user data or make your conversations an advertising product. The Privacy Policy explains what data may be processed to run the service, support requests, and privacy choices.
Does MAX store conversations?
MAX stores conversation history locally on your device. MAX is not designed to keep a central archive of raw conversation transcripts.
Is MAX private?
MAX is designed to minimize data collection. Conversation history and saved memory are local-first on your device, while online AI features may need secure server routing and temporary provider processing.
Does MAX work offline?
MAX includes a basic offline text fallback when your connection drops. Full online AI conversation needs an internet connection.
Can I use MAX by voice?
MAX is text-first right now. Built-in MAX voice mode is not currently available.
Where do I download the real app?
Use the download page for the current official app links. It shows App Store or Google Play options only when each link is ready.
What should I do in a crisis?
If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline right away. MAX is not an emergency service and cannot provide crisis intervention.
Can organizations see what people say to MAX?
No. Organizations that sponsor or share access must not receive individual conversations, memory or profile data, user IDs, emails, or identifiable activity.
