MAX AI Companion Terms

These terms explain the expected rules for using MAX AI Companion and related website surfaces during V2 preview work. Final production terms must match the approved legal source before this page is treated as production-ready.

MAX is a private AI companion for adults. It is designed for reflection and emotional steadiness, not professional care, medical advice, legal advice, crisis intervention, or emergency response.

MAX is intended for adults who are at least 18 years old. Account creation, privacy choices, entitlement status, support requests, and account deletion requests may require limited operational records so the service can run and respond to user requests.

Account deletion and privacy-rights help should remain available regardless of subscription state. Final account wording must stay aligned with the approved support and privacy paths before production launch.

Store availability, public download links, subscription behavior, payment handling, and entitlement wording must follow approved product and store evidence. Website copy should avoid pricing claims unless pricing visibility is explicitly approved.

Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other payment and entitlement systems may apply where the app is distributed through store surfaces. The relationship between website terms and any app-store standard EULA remains unresolved until legal/product approval records the final source of truth.

Use MAX respectfully and lawfully. Do not use MAX to generate harmful, illegal, abusive, exploitative, harassing, or deceptive content. Do not try to bypass safety boundaries, impersonate another person, probe private systems, or misuse support, privacy, or account-deletion paths.

MAX may limit, refuse, or redirect requests that conflict with safety boundaries or product rules.

MAX responses are generated by AI and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate despite safety measures. MAX is not a real person, therapist, medical provider, emergency service, financial advisor, lawyer, or professional decision maker.

You are responsible for your decisions and should use human judgment, professional support, or emergency services when needed.

MAX can support reflection, grounding, and emotionally steady check-ins. It cannot diagnose, treat, prescribe, monitor, rescue, contact emergency services, or provide crisis intervention.

If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline right away.

Privacy questions should use privacy@maxaicompanion.com. General support questions should use support@maxaicompanion.com. Current account deletion help is routed through /support until final support/account-deletion approval is recorded.

The privacy page should explain current data handling and legal-source status. These terms should not contradict the privacy page, safety boundaries, store listing evidence, or support operations.

Legal-page analytics remains disabled unless legal/privacy reviewers explicitly approve it and the disclosure is updated. The V2 route registry keeps /terms analytics policy set to none, and this page should not emit element-level tracking events.

These preview-safe terms may change when the canonical terms source, app-store EULA relationship, pricing/subscription wording, and support/account-deletion paths are approved.

Until those approvals are recorded, this page should remain a preview-safe website explanation and must not be used as proof that final production terms are approved.
